2. What data do we collect?
We may collect information you provide through the application form, including:
- your name, contact details, LinkedIn profile and current location;
- your professional background, expertise and relevant industry experience;
- information about companies, products or projects you have built, launched or led;
- your motivation for becoming a founder;
- information about your availability and ability to meet the program requirements; and
- any other information you voluntarily provide in your application.
We may also review professional information that you have made publicly available, particularly through LinkedIn or other professional platforms, where it is relevant to assessing your application. Please do not provide sensitive personal data that is not relevant to your application.
3. Why do we process your data?
We process your personal data to receive and evaluate your application, assess your suitability for the program, communicate with you, organise interviews and selection activities, select participants for the hackathon and subsequent stages, meet applicable legal obligations, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.
If you separately agree to remain in our founder talent network, we may also contact you about future HERE GOES cohorts or relevant founder opportunities.
4. Legal basis for processing
We process your application data because it is necessary to take steps at your request before potentially entering into an agreement with you. We may also process your data based on our legitimate interest in selecting suitable founders, managing the program and protecting our legal interests.
Where we ask to retain your data for future cohorts or other founder opportunities, we will do so only on the basis of your separate consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time.
5. Who may receive your data?
Access is limited to people who need the information for the HERE GOES application and selection process. This may include authorised members of the HERE GOES team, Creative Dock employees and contractors, authorised Bosch representatives participating in the selection or Investment Committee process, relevant external experts or investors, and service providers supporting the process.
Recipients may use the information only for the relevant selection or program purpose and must protect it appropriately.
6. Application platform and hosting
The founder application is provided directly through the HERE GOES website. When you submit the form, your application is sent to the HERE GOES application backend and stored in a private PostgreSQL database used for the selection process.
The website and database are hosted for Creative Dock using Railway infrastructure. Railway acts as an infrastructure service provider and processes data only to provide and secure the hosting service. Creative Dock determines why and how applicant data is used and restricts database access to authorised personnel.
7. International transfers
Your application data is intended to be processed primarily within the European Union and Switzerland. Where a service provider uses subprocessors outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards will be used as required by applicable data protection law, including adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. How long do we retain your data?
If you are not selected, we retain your application data for the duration of the selection process and for up to six months after the process ends, unless a longer period is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
If you separately agree to remain in our founder talent network, we may retain your data for up to two years or until you withdraw your consent, whichever happens first. If you enter the program, you will receive further information about processing connected with your participation.
9. Automated decision-making
We do not make final admission or investment decisions solely through automated processing. Applications are assessed by authorised members of the selection team.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict certain processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, receive your data in a portable format, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and submit a complaint to the relevant data protection authority.
